Ethiopia reported a cumulative total of 51,670 confirmed cases of coronavirus on Sunday, with 1,468 new infections in the last 24 hours.

With another 23 fatalities, the death toll in the country has reached 793, the country’s Ministry of Health said. Of the total cases of COVID-19, 18, 382 have recovered, including 266 in the last 24-hour period, the ministry said.

The ministry also said a total of 31,945 COVID-19 patients are still undergoing medical treatment, including 344 in severe condition.
